There was a total of 71 homes sold in the Lake Norman area September 1 thru September 30, 2009 as compared to 80 properties sold during the same time period of 2008. The average number of days on the market stretched from 146 during the stated time period in 2008 to 161 for the same period in 2009 but the average days on market from August of 2009 compared to September 2009 remained stable. The average sale price dropped by about 9% compared to last year at the same time but, similar to day son market from August 2009 to September 2009 there has only been about a 1% drop in average sale price.
